Travel to Denver
The city of Denver is the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and modern upscale sophistication. Denver is as polished as it is laid-back. It’s a place where aerospace engineers rub elbows with rock climbers at local breweries, art festivals, or while walking their favorite pedestrian mall. It is so easy to fall in love with Denver on your first visit due to the 300 days of sunshine per year. Denver enjoys low relative humidity, making for beautiful, sun-filled days and cool, comfortable evenings. The average daily high temperature in August is a mild 86 degrees Fahrenheit and in September a daily average of 79 degrees Fahrenheit. Plan to bring a light jacket for the evenings to keep you warm. The mild weather is due in part to the city’s altitude: 5,280 feet above sea level, or exactly a mile high. Please consult your doctor if you have any health concerns prior to traveling to the “Mile High City.”
