Dear Leadership of the International Churches of Christ,

The Denver Church of Christ feels both privileged and honored to be able to host the 2009 International Leadership Conference (ILC). This conference has played a vital role in recent years in providing opportunities for our fellowship to connect and deepen both individual relationships and in strengthening the relationships between churches in our fellowship.

The ILC has been hosted in Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Hampton Roads, Los Angeles, and last year marked the first international site of the ILC in Kiev, Ukraine.

“The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Galatians 5:14)

Traveling to the United States for this conference is financially impossible for a large number of our brothers serving God in countries and congregations less privileged than most here in the United States. We ask you to consider how you might provide an opportunity for your brothers to attend this leadership conference by sponsoring one or more of our brothers to travel and attend this conference. We understand that we are living in times where many budgets are stretched tight, but we ask you to consider how we can use the much we are blessed with to help those with less.
